Awards on May 3, 2012!

Because of our Lions volunteers, supporters, community partners, and staff, CVS screened 7,000 St. Louis children for vision problems in 2011, saving sight for thousands and setting the foundation for greater success in school.

Honoring Lion Tom Renaud

Lion Tom RenaudThe Foundation was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Concord Village Lions member and long-time Foundation supporter, Lion Tom Renaud.

Lion Tom was an incredible volunteer in the St. Louis community. In fact, for 21 years, he served as chairman of the Concord Village Lions’ annual Fish for Sight Tournament. Through his leadership, thousands of dollars were raised by the Tournament for organizations in Missouri, including $210,000 for the Foundation’s programs. Lion Tom was the club’s first Haywood Snipes award recipient in 1996, and since that time, 20 more awards have been presented to members of the Concord Village Lions.

Our thoughts are with the Renaud family during this time.
