Twin Brothers Undergo Sight-Saving Transplants
As identical twins, Garry and Larry have shared a lot in common – careers in the insurance industry, a love for fishing, and unfortunately, Fuch’s dystrophy, a genetic disease which slowly stole their eyesight over the years.

Joplin Lions Say, "Show Me Your Heart!"
Who’s spreading the word about eye, organ and tissue donation in Joplin, MO? That would be the Joplin Lions Club, who in January 2011, began registering area residents for Missouri’s first-person consent registry.
After working closely with Darian Vanderhoofven, Joplin branch manager, on other projects, the Joplin Lions decided to help the Eye Bank raise awareness about donation in their community. On February 26th, Tamara Oberbeck, vision program manager, discussed Glaucoma and Children's Vision Screenings on KKOW and KFEQ. On the same day, Tony Bavuso and Amy Moss shared information National Eye Donor Month on the Entercom radio stations in Kansas City.
