Dear BECA Amigo,
August is a month of high expectations for BECA.org Nicaragua.
First to the north, where our student Ludys Flores will begin her pre-professional career as a Nursing Assistant in the municipality of Trinidad, Estelí.
We return to the city of Masaya where 12 students begin their internships:- 9 graduates of the National Technical Institute in Granada - INTECNA (Chemical Engineering, Industrial Electronics and Industrial Electricity)
- 2 graduates of the Health Polytechnic Center - POLISAL - in Jinotepe (Laboratory Clinicians)
- 1 from the National School of Hospitality - ENAH - (Chef)
Each of them will have to give their best to exceed expectations in their respective companies in order to have the opportunity to work as true professionals. BECA.org believes in you! We would also like to announce the arrival of two new interns: Ms. Sorania Davila, a graduate of a technical course of tourism and hotel administration, and Mr. Eliezer Alvarado who studied a technical career in accounting. Both are graduates of the BECA.org scholarship program in Nicaragua. We are still working hard at developing an independent student council (CEB). The Masaya branch recently elected two new representatives: Diedrik Garcia and Manuel Saballos. Finally, in mid-August another crop of scholarship candidates begin their Brigade component where they will support teachers in the early grades of public schools. Sincerely, Maryury Ruíz Coordinator, BECA.org
