December Update

Here comes December and for BECA it means making some decisions.
BECA has chosen the new Coordinators for the 2011 pilot expansion in Nicaragua.
What elements were the most important?
- A passion for helping
- Knowledge of the needs of their community
- Well-connected in their community
- Experience in developing pilot social projects
We have chosen four: - A social worker that has worked with children in need in the city of Matagalpa.
- A business administration background with social project experience in Esteli.
- An anthropologist with a passion for helping from Mateare.
- An accountant with solid connections in the municipality of Ciudad Sandino.
Now it is our turn to train them and see what happens in 2011.
