I'm talking about the BECA technical career scholarships that we are going to try to raise funds for before the end of 2010.
The breakdown of candidates looks something like this (in no particular order):
Accounting Technician: 11
Executive Chef: 1
Architecture Technician: 1
Construction Manager: 1
Nursing Assistant: 1
Industrial Electrician: 4
Electronics Technician: 3
Clinical Lab Worker: 5
Auto Mechanic: 2
Pastry Chef: 1
Computer Programmer: 1
Industrical Chemist: 6
Executive Secretary: 6
Hotel and Tourism: 6
Of the 49 candidates, 35 of them are women -- that's 71%.
