September Update

Dear ,

50.

We've qualified 50 new applications for technical career scholarships in 2010.

That means that roughly half of the BECA 2009 Course One graduates have applied.

I wasn't expecting this kind of response. In fact I was telling Antonio that we might get a couple dozen.

So what to do?

Here's the plan. Between now and the end of the year, we will be posting the candidates on the BECA website, 5 to 10 at a time. (The first five are already up there.)

The students with the best attendance and highest marks during Course One will go up first. We figure that this is only fair.

When (and if) the first group gets sponsored, we'll post the next 5 to 10. This process will continue until the end of the year.

That's the plan.

BECA got its hands on a video camera -- thanks to BECA director Suzanne Bourne.

All together we did four video profiles of new sponsorship candidates. You can check them all out on our spanking new Youtube channel.
