August Update

Dear ,

Good things happen when BECA sponsors come to Nicaragua to visit.

Of course, the students get very excited.

I have noticed that the students that have been visited rarely drop out. Perhaps it is because they realize that there is someone out there who really believes in them. And believes in them enough to visit.

No less important is the impact a visit can have on the sponsor. You can see it in their faces when they show up at a school or at a student's home.

Fortunately, the city of Masaya is very safe. I rarely feel unsafe here.

We have posted a few pictures of some BECA sponsor visits here.
