The checklist below is a great way to make sure you have your bases covered.

Claim Recovery Checklist
 

1. Temporary Repairs to your property

o   Make any necessary repairs to your property to avoid further damage

2. Contact your insurance agent or company as soon as possible

3. Start a list or inventory of damages of items missing. It is also helpful to start documenting or gathering values or original prices and replacement prices of the damaged items.
