ANNIE BLOOM'S BOOK'S Monday September, 17th 7PM

QUOTE OF THE WEEK "I had fallen so under the spell of Naseem Rakha's voice and plot that I had lost all track of time. The characters were alive. Their choices were wrenching. Their sins and their ignorance were our own...This is a mesmerizing book--one any writer would envy and any reader would love.

Greetings!
I have just returned from a terrific book tour through Washington, Montana, and Idaho. My father and son joined me, and we had a wonderful time meeting readers, book sellers, and the elk and bison at Yellowstone. Now that I'm back, I want to update you on a few opportunities regarding The Crying Tree.

Book Clubs
|
One of the most enjoyable aspects of the book release has been meeting with book clubs. My publishers knew the The Crying Tree would be a book people would want to talk about, thus they took the unusual step of including a Readers' Guide in the hardback edition. Needless to say, I have been thrilled to meet with people who've read the book and want to talk about its twists and turns. If you're a member of a book club, or know a group of people interested in reading and discussing the The Crying Tree, email me so we can discuss hooking up in person or via the internet. |

I hope to take the opportunity to call OPB's Think out Loud, or submit your questions about the book to their online site. And I hope you can make it to one of the upcoming readings. Have a nice autumn.
Sincerely,
Naseem Rakha
