2010 is the year to rebuild and recover.   Benefits plans, like so much else, were battered by the downturn.  401(k) plan matches were suspended by some employers.  The future of health care plans was uncertain, slowing innovation. 

 

Now some employers are resuming contributions to 401(k) plans.  Health promotion and wellness initiatives are increasingly recognized as viable health care reform that need not wait for Washington.
