This issue is all about perspective.  Many of you may be worrying about relationships, bills, job loss, or health. Death has a way of making you ponder life and focus on what's really important.  Read on to be reminded of how much we already have to be grateful for.

I spent the day after Thanksgiving burying a loved one.  During the past three months, I have attended four funerals and four times I have been "forced" or "privileged" to look at the eventual finality of this earthly sojourn and to put this whole human experience into perspective.  Interestingly, there has been at least one preeminent and recurring lesson through them all...

November Health Chronicles
We still don't have a definitive diagnosis for my daughter.   Hopkins can't see her until mid December.  Meanwhile, she has had a couple of different MRI's and today she had a spinal tap to figure out what's causing the pain and paralysis symptoms.  So many of you have contacted me to tell me you are praying for my daughter.  Thank you, and please keep praying.
