Greetings! |
Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Hanukkah, and Joy to
the World... Heard these familiar winter
seasons greetings? Each greeting is slightly different, but
the goal is the same; everyone is wishing each other joy, merriment, and happiness. Have these greetings lost their meaning or do
you really wish happiness, joy, and jolliness to others? Are your actions congruent with your greetings? Be careful not to let the season stress you out and steal your joy.
Even familiar holiday carols remind us that, 'Tis
the season to be jolly." Are you jolly,
and if not, what will make you more cheerful, happy and fun loving? People that have a happy energetic disposition
attract more opportunities, more positive people, and more joy to them. If you know what makes you happy, commit to
doing more of those things. If you don't
know what will make you 'jolly,' then
ask the right questions and seek to find the answer. Read more about creating happiness.

21 Gifts That Cost Little or Nothing

the gift of sharing our time, love, encouragement, hospitality, and
friendship can have a lasting impact. Click to continue reading about 21 Gifts That Cost Little or Nothing.

Two different perspectives, but they both lead to the same conclusion and that is, 'our faith, beliefs, and actions produce our results.' Certain beliefs and actions produce happiness and other beliefs and actions produce unhappiness. We are makers of our misery and we are the makers of our merriment.
It is all about perspective. Studies have shown that happy people Continue reading article |
Tis the Season For Faith
|
For some, this season isn't a commercial event but instead holds a special religious significance and is a reminder to everyone to have faith. Times are tough for many.
During this season remember to believe that everything has a purpose. My faith affirmation is, "I choose to believe that my life even my adversities have meaning, purpose, and a reason for occurring." "I choose to believe that what I do or do not do creates my reality. I
choose to believe that even in adversity I, in some way, attracted my
circumstances."
Perhaps in praying for strength, I caused a chain of
events to happen that would test me and force me to grow stronger.
Perhaps in desiring to be of service to God I became a vessel for
someone else's growth. Sometimes service requires sacrifice and
challenges. My friend Judith always says, "You can't have a testimony without tests!" I choose to ... click to continue reading
