December Holiday Luncheon

Please mark your calendar to join us for the annual holiday luncheon. There will not be a speaker for this meeting. This will be a time for us to network and socialize with our fellow LEBC members. We will present thank-you gifts to members of the Program Committee who are rotating off after serving two years on this Committee.
Check computerized signs for meeting room location.
Parking vouchers are available at meetings for individuals parking in the Marriott garage.
Valet parking will not be reimbursed.
Again, there will not be a speaker for the December meeting.

LEBC's December Drive for "Dress for Success Louisville"
We are collecting interview-dress items to donate to "Dress for Success Louisville" at our December Holiday Luncheon. We hope to assist them in their mission of promoting the economic independence of disadvantaged women in the Louisville area.
Please consider donating:
1. New or gently used interview attire;
2. New or gently used professional purses in black, brown, or navy;
3. New or gently used closed-toe black, brown, or navy pumps or flats;
4. Accessories (business-appropriate earrings, necklaces, scarves, or brooches);
5. Shopping bags with handles (the kind you might get in a department store); and/or
6. Cash donations to support Dress for Success Louisville's Career Development.
We will have a drop-off table next to the sign-in table. We will be able to forward a donation receipt upon your request. Thank you in advance for your donation.

Meeting & Guest Policies
You are invited to attend all LEBC monthly luncheon and presentation meetings as well as LEBC Sub-Council meetings.
The monthly luncheon meetings are the second Tuesday of the month and begin at 11:30 a.m. with registration and a time for networking and socializing. Lunch will be served at Noon. Speaker presentations begin at approximately 12:15 p.m. Meetings will conclude no later than 1:30 p.m.
Guests are welcome at our monthly luncheon meetings for a fee of $40. Add your guest information to the RSVP, or notify the Membership Chair:

Sub-Council meetings are the fourth Tuesday of the month and begin at 12 noon. Cost for attending these meetings is $40 for guests and for members who did not sign up with their annual dues. If you would like to attend a Sub-Council meeting, RSVP through the newsletter and pay at the door when you arrive for the meeting.

RSVP's and Cancellation Policy Please note that members are asked to confirm their attendance at all meetings. **No-shows are a recurring problem and continue to adversely affect the LEBC's efforts to manage expenses.** The Marriott charges the LEBC for all reservations made and not cancelled by noon on the Friday immediately prior to the Luncheon. To cancel a reservation for a monthly meeting contact:

Member's Corner New Members The LEBC encourages members to be on the lookout for acquaintances, new or old, in any of the employee benefits fields of endeavor who might benefit from being introduced to the LEBC. Program Committee News The LEBC Program Committee is looking for members who would like to assist with determining and securing speakers for the LEBC monthly luncheons. The Program Committee meets once a month, and members commit to a two-year term.
