Continuing Education Credits
 
The LEBC is applying where practicable for one hour continuing education credit for eligible presentations with the Kentucky Bar Association, the Joint Board of the Enrollment of Actuaries, the Kentucky State Board of Accountancy, the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries, and the Kentucky Department of Insurance. Forms for qualifying continuing education credits will be available at the registration table.

Speaker Presentation
 

Sherri Fitts of LPL Financial will present "Networking 2.0."
  

Sherri Fitts is the Vice President of Retirement Marketing at LPL Financial. She has an extensive background in marketing retirement plans and services. She leads LPL's planning, development and execution of marketing communications programs for advisors focusing on the institutional and individual retirement plan marketplace. Her roles at LPL and in previous positions have included marketing and communications (print, electronic, and web-based); media and public relations; external partner training; and event planning.

 

Sherri has written and spoken frequently on retirement plans marketing and on complementary fields such as social media, behavioral finance, and generational differences. In the course of her nearly 20-year career in financial services, Sherri has received awards and recognition from the PSCA, Pensions and Investments, the National Association of Government Defined Contribution Administrators, and the International Association of Business Communicators. Outside of LPL, Sherri serves on several boards and committees and has helped develop the rapidly-expanding Women in Pensions network, the aim of which is to support and encourage the professional development of women in the retirement planning arena.

Meeting & Guest Policies

You are invited to attend all LEBC monthly luncheon and presentation meetings as well as LEBC Sub-Council meetings.

The monthly luncheon meetings are the second Tuesday of the month and begin at 11:30 a.m. with registration and a time for networking and socializing. Lunch will be served at Noon. Speaker presentations begin at approximately 12:15 p.m. Meetings will conclude no later than 1:30 p.m. 

Guests are welcome at our monthly luncheon meetings for a fee of $50. Add your guest information to the RSVP, or notify the Membership Chair:

Sub-Council meetings are the fourth Tuesday of the month and begin at 12 noon. Cost for attending these meetings is $40 for members who did not sign up with their annual dues and $50 for guests.  
If you would like to attend a Sub-Council meeting, RSVP through the newsletter and pay at the door when you arrive for the meeting.

Please note that members are asked to confirm their attendance at all meetings.  

**No-shows are a recurring problem and continue to adversely affect the LEBC's efforts to manage expenses.**   

The Marriott charges the LEBC for all reservations made and not cancelled by noon on the Friday immediately prior to the Luncheon.
