Continuing Education Credits
The LEBC is applying where practicable for one hour continuing education credit for eligible presentations with the Kentucky Bar Association, the Joint Board of the Enrollment of Actuaries, the Kentucky State Board of Accountancy, the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries, and the Kentucky Department of Insurance. Forms for qualifying continuing education credits will be available at the registration table.

Speaker Presentation
Shane M. Tucker of Vinson & Elkins LLP will present Nonqualified Deferred Compensation Correction Procedures.
Shane Tucker is a partner in the Dallas, TX offices of the global law firm Vinson & Elkins, LLP. While Mr. Tucker's varied practice takes in the comprehensive scope of matters involving employee benefits that includes qualified retirement plans and welfare plans, a significant portion of his practice is devoted to the design of deferred compensation arrangements and equity-based compensation arrangements, and he has counseled both employers and executives in various executive compensation matters. Mr. Tucker's service to these clients includes advice in tax matters associated with deferred compensation arrangements, including performance-based compensation issues, transactions involving golden parachute payments, deferred compensation plan design, and matters involving transfers of property for services. His experience extends also to executive compensation and employee benefit issues associated with corporate mergers and acquisitions and other business combinations, restructurings, and initial public offerings. He also counsels clients with regard to proxy statement disclosure and shareholder appraisal issues involving equity compensation arrangements and compensatory arrangements for executive officers and directors. Mr. Tucker received his Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame Law School, magna cum laude, in 1999. He was a member of the Notre Dame Law Review. He is admitted to practice in Texas, and is a member of the Employee Benefits Section of the Dallas Bar Association.

Meeting & Guest Policies
You are invited to attend all LEBC monthly luncheon and presentation meetings as well as LEBC Sub-Council meetings.
The monthly luncheon meetings are the second Tuesday of the month and begin at 11:30 a.m. with registration and a time for networking and socializing. Lunch will be served at Noon. Speaker presentations begin at approximately 12:15 p.m. Meetings will conclude no later than 1:30 p.m.
Guests are welcome at our monthly luncheon meetings for a fee of $50. Add your guest information to the RSVP, or notify the Membership Chair:

Sub-Council meetings are the fourth Tuesday of the month and begin at 12 noon. Cost for attending these meetings is $40 for members who did not sign up with their annual dues and $50 for guests. If you would like to attend a Sub-Council meeting, RSVP through the newsletter and pay at the door when you arrive for the meeting.

RSVP's and Cancellation Policy Please note that members are asked to confirm their attendance at all meetings. **No-shows are a recurring problem and continue to adversely affect the LEBC's efforts to manage expenses.** The Marriott charges the LEBC for all reservations made and not cancelled by noon on the Friday immediately prior to the Luncheon.
