Continuing Education Credits
The LEBC is applying where practicable for one hour continuing education credit for eligible presentations with the Kentucky Bar Association, the Joint Board of the Enrollment of Actuaries, the Kentucky State Board of Accountancy, the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries, and the Kentucky Department of Insurance. Forms for qualifying continuing education credits will be available at the registration table.

Speaker Presentation
Robert M. Kaplan, CFP, CPC, QPA, APA of ING will present Legislative and Regulatory Update -- What's New out of Washington, DC.
Bob Kaplan is the Vice President, National Training Consultant for ING. His responsibilities include web cast and live training for ING Retirement Services Personnel, as well as members of the TPA and broker community.
Bob is a former member for the Board of Managers of the American Institute of Retirement Education (AIRE) and a former member of the Board of Directors of the National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA).
He is currently a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries' (ASPPA's) Government Affairs Executive Management Committee.
In 2009, Bob was presented NIPA's Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to the retirement plan industry.
Bob is also a former high school basketball coach.
He is a graduate of the State University of New York (SUNY) at Albany, NY and has a graduate degree from William Paterson University in New Jersey.
Lunch Menu
Lunch will be: Minestrone Soup, Herb Grilled New York Strip Loin with Wild Mushroom Sauce and Roasted Parmesan Red Potato, with dessert of Chocolate Madness Croquant.

Meeting & Guest Policies
You are invited to attend all LEBC monthly luncheon and presentation meetings as well as LEBC Sub-Council meetings.
The monthly luncheon meetings are the second Tuesday of the month and begin at 11:30 a.m. with registration and a time for networking and socializing. Lunch will be served at Noon. Speaker presentations begin at approximately 12:15 p.m. Meetings will conclude no later than 1:30 p.m.
Guests are welcome at our monthly luncheon meetings for a fee of $50. Add your guest information to the RSVP, or notify the Membership Chair:

Sub-Council meetings are the fourth Tuesday of the month and begin at 12 noon. Cost for attending these meetings is $40 for members who did not sign up with their annual dues and $50 for guests. If you would like to attend a Sub-Council meeting, RSVP through the newsletter and pay at the door when you arrive for the meeting.

RSVP's and Cancellation Policy Please note that members are asked to confirm their attendance at all meetings. **No-shows are a recurring problem and continue to adversely affect the LEBC's efforts to manage expenses.** The Marriott charges the LEBC for all reservations made and not cancelled by noon on the Friday immediately prior to the Luncheon.
