December Holiday Luncheon

Please mark your calendar to join us for the annual holiday luncheon.  There will not be a speaker for this meeting.  This will be a time for us to network and socialize with other LEBC members.  We will present thank you gifts to members of the Program Committeee who are rotating off after serving two years on this committee. 

Check computerized signs for meeting room location. 

Parking vouchers are available at meetings for individuals parking in the Marriott garage. 

Valet parking will not be reimbursed.

There will not be a speaker for the December meeting.

This year's meal will include a choice of steak or salmon.  Please note whether you want steak or salmon in the Dietary section when submitting your RSVP.  Meals will be prepared based on your selection indicated in your RSVP and will not be able to be changed the day of the meeting.

Meeting & Guest Policies
 
You are invited to attend all LEBC monthly luncheon and presentation meetings as well as LEBC Sub-Council meetings.
 
The monthly luncheon meetings are the second Tuesday of the month and begin at 11:30 a.m. with registration and a time for networking and socializing. Lunch will be served at Noon. Speaker presentations begin at approximately 12:15 p.m. Meetings will conclude no later than 1:30 p.m. 
 
Guests are welcome at our monthly luncheon meetings for a fee of $50. Add your guest information to the RSVP, or notify the Membership Chair:

Sub-Council meetings are the fourth Tuesday of the month and begin at 12 noon. Cost for attending these meetings is $40 for members who did not sign up with their annual dues and $50 for guests.  
 
If you would like to attend a Sub-Council meeting, RSVP through the newsletter and pay at the door when you arrive for the meeting.

RSVP's and Cancellation Policy
 
Please note that members are asked to confirm their attendance at all meetings.  
 
**No-shows are a recurring problem and continue to adversely affect the LEBC's efforts to manage expenses.**   
 
The Marriott charges the LEBC for all reservations made and not cancelled by noon on the Friday immediately prior to the Luncheon.

Program Committee News
 
The LEBC Program Committee is looking for members who would like to assist with determining and securing speakers for the LEBC monthly luncheons.  The Program Committee meets once a month and members commit to a two-year term.  If you are interested in joining the Program Commitee, please call Debby Coons at (502) 561-1530 or email debby.coons@aon.com.  
 
Member's Corner 

The Executive Committee would like to express its gratitude to Paul Johnson of United States Secret Service Louisville Field Office, for his presentation on "Information Security: Lessons Learned and Latest Trends" at the November Monthly Luncheon. 

Also thanks to Rod Thomas of Atria Senior Living Group for his presentation on "Administrative Challenges: Domestic Partner Coverage" at the November Sub Council meeting.
