Frank J. Bitzer, of Grennebaum, Doll & McDonald, PLLC will be presenting "ERISA Fiduciary Litigation Update."
Frank Bitzer has over 20 years of experience as an employee benefits attorney. As the former CEBS ERISA Legal Counsel and Assistant Vice President of Fifth Third Bank, he provided legal counsel on matters pertaining to employee benefits, with particular focus on issues pertaining to ERISA, including client consultation on fiduciary issues, plan design and administration and all regulatory compiance matters.
In addition, Mr. Bitzer served five years as a Journeyman Level Investigator with the U.S. Department of Labor - Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) charged with enforcing the fiduciary provisions of ERISA upon the nation's more than a million ERISA qualified employee benefit plans. He targeted and conducted both civil and criminal matters under ERISA and Title 18 of the United States Code.
Mr. Bitzer's areas of concentration cover matters ranging from institutional trust and custody matters to plan investment issues, plan qualifications, fiduciary matters, HIPAA, COBRA, HSA's, IRA's, management of regulatory oversight, health and benefit matters, 409A/NQDC and proprietary benefit matters.
Mr. Bitzer received a B.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati and his law degree from the University of San Diego.

Meeting & Guest Policies
Please remember that the Health & Welfare Sub-Council Members will not need to pay at the door to attend the lunch. Other interested LEBC members who would like to attend the luncheon are asked to pay $40 at the door ($50 for guest)(payable to the Louisville Employee Benefits Council).
Check computerized signs for meeting room location.
Parking vouchers are available at meetings for individuals parking in the Marriott garage.
Please note that LEBC does not validate valet parking.

RSVP's and Cancellation Policy
Please note that members are asked to confirm their attendance at all meetings.
**No-shows are a recurring problem and continue to adversely affect the LEBC's efforts to manage expenses.**
The Marriott charges the LEBC for all reservations made and not cancelled by noon on the Friday immediately prior to the Luncheon.
