Speaker Presentation
Chris Tobe, CFA, CAIA, of BCAP, will be speaking on "Stable Value Funds."
Chris Tobe, CFA, CAIA is a top expert on Stable Value and has been quoted by the Wall Street Journal and Barrons in 2009. He has over 23 years of experience working with DC & DB Plans working as a consultant, money manager and regulator.
He currently does Pension Investment Consulting and Stable Value Consulting for BCAP with 11 major clients and $25 billion assets including the states of Maryland and Texas. He is a Trustee for the Kentucky Retirement Systems and until recently a
Sr. Consultant for NEPC.
For nearly 7 years he served as a director for the Pension & Savings Group of AEGON Institutional Markets, where he was responsible for a number of major relationships with the over $40 billion wrapped stable value book.
Tobe has published a number of articles on Stable Value and related topics including "The Consultants Guide to Stable Value," in the Journal of Investment Consulting and "Will the Mutual Fund Scandal Make Equity Washes Easier to Swallow?" in Stable Times. Previous articles include "Stable Value - An Asset for All Seasons" (Plan Sponsor Magazine), "Is Wrapper Capacity a Concern?" (Stable Times)
He has served on a number of committees of the Stable Value Investment Association (SVIA) including a stint as the editor of Stable Times magazine. He has spoken at a number of SVIA conferences and national conferences such as IFEBP and NAGDCA on stable value. He holds a BA in Economics from Tulane University, and an MBA in Finance from Indiana University - Bloomington.

Meeting & Guest Policies
Please remember that the Retirement Plans Sub-Council Members will not need to pay at the door to attend the lunch. Other interested LEBC members who would like to attend the luncheon are asked to pay $40 at the door ($50 for guest)(payable to the Louisville Employee Benefits Council).
Check computerized signs for meeting room location.
Parking vouchers are available at meetings for individuals parking in the Marriott garage.
Please note that LEBC does not validate valet parking.

RSVP's and Cancellation Policy
Please note that members are asked to confirm their attendance at all meetings.
**No-shows are a recurring problem and continue to adversely affect the LEBC's efforts to manage expenses.**
The Marriott charges the LEBC for all reservations made and not cancelled by noon on the Friday immediately prior to the Luncheon.
