LEBC 2010 Invoices 

The Louisville Employee Benefit Council 2010 Membership Invoices will be mail to you in early December.  There will be a brief survey included with the invoices that will assist the Executive Committee in planning next year's schedule.  Please take a moment to complete the survey and return it with your 2010 dues.

Continuing Education Credits
 
The LEBC is applying for one hour continuing education credit for eligible presentations with the Kentucky Bar Association, the Joint Board of the Enrollment of Actuaries, the Kentucky State Board of Accountancy, the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries, the Kentucky Department of Insurance. Forms for continuing education credits will be available at the registration table.

Speaker Presentation
 
Bill Griggs of T. Rowe Price will present "The Evolution, Viability and Liability of Target Date Options."

Bill Griggs is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Retirement Plan Services, Inc. His role as a Retirement Sales Executive places him in constant contact with Plan Sponsors and investment advisors working in the defined contribution plan industry.

Bill joined the firm in 1994 working directly with retail shareholders, and moved to Retirement Plan Services in 1996. His 16 years of experience has ranged from DC client services and plan administration, to conducting retirement planning seminars, and working with sponsors to design custom participant communications.

Bill earned a B.S. in Communications from Frostburg State University in Maryland. He is also a Series 6, 7 and 63 registered representative of FINRA (formerly NASD).

Meeting & Guest Policies
 
You are invited to attend all LEBC monthly luncheon and presentation meetings as well as LEBC Sub-Council meetings.
 
The monthly luncheon meetings are the second Tuesday of the month and begin at 11:30 a.m. with registration and a time for networking and socializing. Lunch will be served at Noon. Speaker presentations begin at approximately 12:15 p.m. Meetings will conclude no later than 1:30 p.m. 
 
Guests are welcome at our monthly luncheon meetings for a fee of $50. Add your guest information to the RSVP, or notify the Membership Chair:

Sub-Council meetings are the fourth Tuesday of the month and begin at 12 noon. Cost for attending these meetings is $40 for members who did not sign up with their annual dues and $50 for guests.  
 
If you would like to attend a Sub-Council meeting, RSVP through the newsletter and pay at the door when you arrive for the meeting.

Please note that members are asked to confirm their attendance at all meetings.  
 
**No-shows are a recurring problem and continue to adversely affect the LEBC's efforts to manage expenses.**   
 
The Marriott charges the LEBC for all reservations made and not cancelled by noon on the Friday immediately prior to the Luncheon.

The LEBC Program Committee is looking for members who would like to assist with determining and securing speakers for the LEBC Monthly Luncheons.  The Program Committee meets once a month and members commit to a two year term.
