Continuing Education Credits
The LEBC is applying for one hour continuing education credit for eligible presentations with the Kentucky Bar Association, the Joint Board of the Enrollment of Actuaries, the Kentucky State Board of Accountancy, the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries, the Kentucky Department of Insurance. Forms for continuing education credits will be available at the registration table.

Speaker Presentation
Randy Bowling will speak on "Consumer Driven Health Plans."
Randy Bowling is the president of Consumer Choice Plans, in Paducah, Kentucky. Consumer Choice Plans is a third party administrator of consumer driven plans. He was the Southeast Marketer for Choice Care Card from 2002 to 2006. Randy served as President of Midstates Brokerage, a group insurance brokerage and health administration firm from 1985 to 2001. He also served as Health and Retirement Plan Division VP for Morgan, Trevathan and Gun, a property and casualty agency.

Salad: Bibb Lettuce & Baby spinach with Roasted Pears, Toasted Pecans, Blue Cheese Crumbles, Sun Dried Cranberries & Raspberry Vinaigrette

September Sub-Council Meeting

Meeting & Guest Policies
You are invited to attend all LEBC monthly luncheon and presentation meetings as well as LEBC Sub-Council meetings.
The monthly luncheon meetings are the second Tuesday of the month and begin at 11:30 a.m. with registration and a time for networking and socializing. Lunch will be served at Noon. Speaker presentations begin at approximately 12:15 p.m. Meetings will conclude no later than 1:30 p.m.
Guests are welcome at our monthly luncheon meetings for a fee of $50. Add your guest information to the RSVP, or notify the Membership Chair:

Sub-Council meetings are the fourth Tuesday of the month and begin at 12 noon. Cost for attending these meetings is $40 for members who did not sign up with their annual dues and $50 for guests.
If you would like to attend a Sub-Council meeting, RSVP through the newsletter and pay at the door when you arrive for the meeting.

Please note that members are asked to confirm their attendance at all meetings.
**No-shows are a recurring problem and continue to adversely affect the LEBC's efforts to manage expenses.**
The Marriott charges the LEBC for all reservations made and not cancelled by noon on the Friday immediately prior to the Luncheon.
