Speaker Presentation
 
Tom Blanchar, 403(b) and 457 Product Manager at The Standard will present "Update and review of new IRS regulations for 403(b) plans."  Tom has provided consulting services in the non-profit and governmental retirement plans market since 1984.  Currently he offers product development and technical assistance to The Standard Retirement Plans Offices and partners. 
 
Tom's qualifications include:
 
  • Former sales representative marketing 403(b) plans to schools, universities, hospitals and not-for-profit organizations for a leading provider of annuity products.
  • Former director of 403(b)/457 product development and assistant VP of Plan Administration and Participant Services of a leading financial services firm.  In this capacity he supervised the administration of over one thousand 403(b) and 457 plans with over 70,000 participant accounts, including the 457 deferred compensation plan for several major cities and counties.
  • Industry Council Member of the National Tax Sheltered Accounts Association (NTSAA)
  • Participant in the Life Insurance Market Research Associations's (LIMRA) Not-for-Profit Market Study Group.

Meeting & Guest Policies
 
Please remember that the Retirement Plans Sub-Council Members will not need to pay at the door to attend the lunch.  Other interested LEBC members who would like to attend the luncheon are asked to pay $40 at the door ($50 for guest)(payable to the Louisville Employee Benefits Council).  
 
Check computerized signs for meeting room location. 

Parking vouchers are available at meetings for individuals parking in the Marriott garage. 
 
Please note that LEBC does not validate valet parking.

RSVP's and Cancellation Policy
 
Please note that members are asked to confirm their attendance at all meetings.  
 
**No-shows are a recurring problem and continue to adversely affect the LEBC's efforts to manage expenses.**   
 
The Marriott charges the LEBC for all reservations made and not cancelled by noon on the Friday immediately prior to the Luncheon.
