BEFORE-HOURS CARE 7:00-7:40
Please be reminded that any student who is dropped off before the 7:40 bell rings is considered in Before-Hours Care. Students may not be dropped and left unattended. When that occurs the students will be instructed by the BHC Director, Miss Montgomery, to enter the building and will be signed into BHC, resulting in a $2.00 charge. When the 7:40 bell rings, the door will be propped open by Susan Morgan to indicate that students may enter and go directly to their classrooms.

Please email pmckee@evangelclassical.org with comments or requests! We hope you enjoy the submissions and will find them intellectually stimulating as well as spiritually encouraging. Check it out today at www.evangelclassical.org

FALL FESTIVAL & Supporting ECCS |
FALL FESTIVAL IS THIS SATURDAY, OCTOBER 1ST
Everyone is invited to join us for our twelfth annual ECCS FALL FESTIVAL this Saturday from 11:00-2:00. Invite friends, family, and neighbors for a fun-filled day at ECCS.
To order ARMBANDS FOR FALL FESTIVAL, please return the orange form by Friday. Armbands are only $10 in advance. Armbands allow unlimited access to rides and games and will cost $15 at the gate. We also ask that you pre-order hamburger and hotdogs meals on that same form to help us better plan for supplies.
Thanks go to Beta Club students who will work the event on behalf of parents again this year. Please contact our PTF President, Traci Allen, if PTF could borrow your shade tent for the day.
SILENT AUCTION baskets will be displayed this Thursday and Friday in the front offices. They are looking great! Contact Beth Sanders to arrange to donate to this year's sale. The SILENT AUCTION makes the most convenient one stop for gift and Christmas shopping!
Due to the on-going roofing construction the FALL FESTIVAL activities will be held in the lower parking lots near the gym and playground. Therefore, all parking for the festival will be designated to the upper parking lot. Please park in the upper L&R/church parking spaces and walk down the hill to the festival. We ask that you do NOT park in the neighborhood or on any grass behind the school. Thank you!
FIND ECCS USED UNIFORMS AT PLANET THRIFT
Planet Thrift information is now available on the ECCS web site. The on-line posting option will remain on the ECCS website for two more weeks only. After October 7th parents may go to Planet Thrift for easy and convenient resale of all ECCS used uniforms.
If you would like to donate your used uniforms to the school so that the school gets the profit from the sale, you may bring them to the school and Wendy Heitschmidt will take them to Planet Thrift for you or you may leave them at the school with her name on them and she will pick them up and take them for you. Our hope is that this partnership will serve as a great alternative to the on-line used uniform sale. |

PSAT Testing
The sophomores and juniors will be taking the PSAT/NMSQT test on Wednesday morning, October 12, which is the day we return from Fall Break. For the sophomores, this is simply practice, as the PSAT is designed for juniors. For the juniors, the test is very important, as it is the selection test for the National Merit competition. Everyone should make sure to get plenty of rest and eat a good breakfast. Come with your number 2 pencils and calculators. This is a national test date; therefore, if a student is absent, the test cannot be made up.
Everyone have a safe, restful Fall Break. School will be out October 7, 10, & 11 and will resume on October 12.
