UPDATED SCRIP SCHEDULE

We have discovered that if we send off our Monday orders early, then the FedEx package arrives a whole day early. No more nail-biters waiting for the package to get in on time!

For that reason, we are setting the cut-off time for Monday orders to 8:15 a.m. Order anytime during the week or weekend, or even send in your check and order first thing on Monday mornings. At 8:15, whatever is in will be sent off to the scrip company and ready for pick up anytime on Friday.

Anything AFTER 8:15 a.m. will not go out until the following Monday, so set an alarm or write it on your calendars so you won't forget!

FEELING SCRIP CHALLENGED?

You are not alone. The quote we hear the most is, "I know I need to do better with scrip, but I..."

Fill in the blank:

a)...haven't quite figured it out how to do it.

b)...am not organized enough with my $.

c)...don't know ahead of time where I'll shop.

d)...don't have enough money to spend.

e) (some combination of the above)

It can seem overwhelming at first. There are so many choices. What may seem like a negative at first is actually a positive. Those choices enable you to tailor your scrip gift cards more closely to the way you already shop.

Are you more of an impulse buyer? Then you'll most likely purchase your gift cards from Cash&Carry at the front desk. It's right there now. You might even use ScripNow! and print your gift card immediately from your computer on the way out the door.

Do you already budget and plan ahead? Then you know how much you are spending on gas and clothing and eating out, etc. Purchasing the gift cards when you get your paycheck should be easier for you. You already know how much you need in gas gift cards or where you like to buy your clothing and eat out.

Do you like to shop online? Then order online and pay with PrestoPay. Don't trust online payment? Then fill out the paper order form and send your check to the school.

My best advice is start small and work up. Keep a Walmart or Target card on hand and a gas card or Lands' End card. As you start noticing where you shop, slowly start adding a card or two when you can. You'll soon start using the gift cards more and more and your tuition costs will start going down and down!
