ECCS SPIRIT DAY T-SHIRTS
Spirit Day shirts may still be ordered! Please order order shirts for parents and grandparents at the front office or e-mail Sheri Garrett at sgarrett@evangelclassical.org . Short sleeved shirts are $10 and long sleeved shirts are $12 (add $2 for sizes over XL).If your child's size was not designated at one of the Open Houses, please notify the front office right away!

CO-CURRICULAR SIGN UPS
Space is still available in most co-curriculars for the 2011-12 school year that will begin after Labor Day. Contact Sheri Garrett for more information. This year's co-curricular schedule is available on the school website at www.evangelclassical.org.

PTF NEWS

"Enjoy the City" coupon books are on sale now.  Help us bless our teachers with birthday goodies with the proceeds from this year's sale.

The book sells for only $20 and all checks or money orders should be made payable to: ECCS PTF. Once you have finished selling the book please place all checks and/or money in the order envelope and return to the classroom no later than Friday, September 16, 2011.

PTF Officer/Room Mom Meeting is Thursday, September 1st!  

Grammar School Skate Party is Friday, September 9th! 

 

Publix Partner Cards

Do you shop at Publix?  Do you have your ECCS Publix Partners card?  Publix donates a portion of your total purchase to ECCS every time you present your Publix Partners card at check out. You can take advantage of this deal for groceries and prescriptions!  Pick up your Publix Partners key chain card at either front desk and help us support our incredible school.

Logic & Rhetoric School Updates
Beta Club Induction Ceremony September 12
The Beta Club Induction Ceremony will be held on September 12 at 8:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary.  Parents of inductees are invited to attend.
 
Italian Ice on Tuesdays!
Carmella's Italian Ice was a great hit on Tuesday! Thanks to everyone who made a purchase. Remember each Tuesday, Carmella's will bring one to three flavors of Italian Ice, and ECCS L & R students may purchase a serving after lunch.  These tasty treats are just $2, and the SGA will receive a portion of the proceeds, which they will use to fund social events and activities for the student body. Students who wish to purchase it should bring $2 in cash, exact change only.  This is optional, of course, and the SGA hopes that the students will enjoy!

 

Balfour

A representative from Balfour will be here on Monday, September 19th to give the Juniors and Seniors information on class rings and graduation invitations. They will return on Friday, September 23 to take orders. They will be here a 8:00 both days and parents are welcome to attend. Please contact Mrs. Parks kparks@evangelclassical.org if you have any questions. Orders will require a deposit, which is usually around $60.00, though we have not yet been told what deposits will be required this year.

 

Thanks for a Great Luau!

Thanks to all who helped with the back to school luau. The students had a great time and are clamoring already for the next dance. 

 

Lunch Ordering

Please remember that lunch orders are due on Monday, August 29.  This was previously posted as the 30th, so please take note that all lunch orders must be in Renweb and all money turned in by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, August 29.  Please place your order before the last day so that if you have any trouble, there will be plenty of time to get help from the office. 

Evangel Mother's Day Out & Preschool

 We are off to a great start this new school year!  God has blessed us with 8 wonderful teachers and staff members and 87 precious children.  Please keep our staff in your prayers this year as we seek to honor the Lord in caring for your children.

 

We still have openings in our 1 year old class on M,F and our 3K classes on M, W, F and in our 4K classes on T, Th.  If you are interested, stop by the downstairs desk for more information or call Kim Hill at 664-1902.
