General Updates

Fall Festival is Saturday, October 30th, 12:00-3:00
Please join us this Saturday for our annual ECCS FALL FESTIVAL FUN! The weather promises to be beautiful and the fun bountiful.
$4 "Classic Meal" tickets as well as $5 and $10 punchcards and $20 unlimited play armbands will be available when you arrive.
Prepurchased tickets, punchcards, and armbands will be distributed in Friday's car line.
Silent Auction baskets will be displayed in both offices on Friday when the bidding will begin on some of the BEST BASKETS yet! We will close bidding at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, so come out on Friday or Saturday to place your bid on these wonderfully stocked baskets!
Could we borrow your shade tent for the Fall Festival? Please contact our PTF President, Traci Allen, at mallen9916@bellsouth.net or 664-9916 for more information or to volunteer your time and/or your tent.

Grammar Update | |
Spirit Day on Friday, October 29th
Friday will be a special day for ECCS students--everyone will be preparing for our last football game of the season (see L&R Updates for all the info.) and for the ECCS FALL FESTIVAL FUN on Saturday. We will celebrate these events and the fall season by wearing our ECCS Spirit Day tee-shirt, jeans, and tennis shoes on Friday.
Also, Grammar parents, please remember that your child's Homework Assignment Planner is the place to go for the most updated homework assignments--this is true in general, but especially when we experience bad weather as we have this week, it will be more accurate than Renweb. |

Logic & Rhetoric School Updates |
Spirit Day on Friday, October 29
This Friday night, October 29 is the last football game this season at Shelby Academy. We'll have a pep rally at the end of the day, and have called a special Spirit Day to help everyone remember to come out to the game! Remember the Spirit Day rules:
-Anyone can wear jeans or khaki pants
-Boys may wear khaki or plaid Bermuda shorts
-Girls may wear denim or khaki Capris
-Tennis shoes.
-Only this year's spirt day tee shirts. Seniors may wear their new
senior tee shirts. Varsity players may wear
football jerseys. Otherwise,
all others must wear this year's Spirit Day tee shirts.
-Neither girls nor boys should wear tight, form fitting jeans.
Parents, please ensure that your children do not have on jeans
that are too tight when they come to school!
Fall Festival is This Weekend!

Athletic Updates |
Don't forget to come out to Shelby Academy this Friday night to cheer on the varsity football team as they go for the conference championship against their arch-rival Hope. And remember, basketball season is just around the corner!

Evangel Mother's Day Out & Preschool Updates

We need stuffed animals for the Fall Festival. If you have any stuffed animals that you would like to donate, please bring them by the MDO office by October 29th. Please send stuffed animals that are in good condition.
Fall Festival is Saturday, October 30th from 12 - 3. We need volunteers to work the MDO booths. Please come by the MDO office to sign up. You won't want to miss this year's Silent Auction - look for the baskets to be displayed outside the school offices on Friday!
