Lee Hutton was recently selected as one of the 25 Attorneys of the Year by Minnesota Finance and Commerce.

Hutton has been digging into more real estate disputes after obtaining two large verdicts in that area last year - one of the reasons he was selected for the Attorney of the Year honor. Hutton won a $732,250 verdict in a six-day trial before a Hennepin County jury in a case revolving about a seller's duty to disclose information to a buyer. He obtained another $522,000 judgment in a bench trial before Judge Lloyd Zimmerman against a real estate agent, the same seller and the agent's firm in a related case alleging negligent and fraudulent representation, breach of fiduciary duty and breach of contract. Hutton is always ready to take on good causes: "I say, bring it on. If there's a good fight, I'm there."
