stamp out hunger MCAR Members are Stamping Out Hunger in Monmouth and Ocean Counties

The Equal Opportunity/Cultural Diversity Committee needs your help for their Stamp Out Hunger Drive for the Foodbank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

This food drive will help provide food to Monmouth and Ocean County residents who experience food insecurity
and are struggling to put food on the table for their families. The food drive helps The Foodbank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties bolster their depleted inventories as the demand for food assistance continues to rise faster than donated food supplies.

When you come to our Tinton Falls office, please bring a non-perishable food item to help their year-long initiative.

If your agency is interesting in becoming a food collection site, contact Rhonda Beck-Edwards at rbeck-edwards@glorianilson.com

Click here for more information on MCAR's Stamp Out Hunger Drive.

The Foodbank is now serving 84 percent more people in Monmouth and Ocean counties than it did in 2007.  In 2011, the Foodbank provided 7 million pounds of food, nearly twice as much as 2007.  For more information, visit www.foodbankmoc.org.
