A Safety Message From The Monmouth County Association of REALTORS®.

 

It has been brought to the attention of the Monmouth County Association of REALTORS® that there is man targeting young, female agents to show him vacant properties.   

 

He is in possession of a 4.5 million dollar pre-qual letter which is perceived to be falsified.  He is expressing a sense of urgency claiming he is here from NYC just for the weekend and has contacted more than 12 REALTORS®.    

 

This man is in his late 20's-early 30's, Asian with a small build and short dark hair.  If you are contacted by this man, we suggest you do not agree to meet him and contact Detective Tozzi at the Monmouth County Prosecutor's office at 732-409-4809.

MCAR No Longer Utilizing IMS System

Please note that as of Friday, April 27th, the IMS system (ims.momls.com) has been permanently shut down.  We are in the process of switching membership systems and expect our new system to be live soon.  During this transition we will be unable to process credit cards payments for dues, events or educational programs.  All payments must be made by check.  We will notify all members as soon as the system is live and credit cards can be processed again.


Additional Code of Ethics Classed Added 
The Education Committee has added three additional REALTORS® Code of Ethics Training 2009-2012 classes, August 6, October 15 & November 15.

These classes qualify for NAR's REALTORS® Code of Ethics Training (formerly known as the "Quadrennial Code of Ethics" training) as well as 2 hours of ethics training for NJ Continuing Education.
