Continuing Education Requirements Commencing on July 1, 2013, in order to qualify for renewal or to reinstate an unrenewed license after that date, every individual licensed as a broker, broker-salesperson or salesperson MUST complete 12 hours of continuing education (CE). The NJREC has adopted the rules that will be used to implement CE requirements. Bookmark this webpage to keep up-to-date on CE information and courses offered.

As a result of NJAR®S lobbying efforts, Governor Christie and the State Legislature removed a major legislative burden, the bulk sales notification requirements, from the backs of the real estate industry.
