Greetings!
Ken Long in the Flower Showcase - April 8, 2010
 | We've had such an exciting start to spring already! This weekend is our huge Spring Open House and we'll be offering free Nathan's Famous hot dogs and lemonade all day long (cooked by yours truly and other staff members).
Right now the Showcase is absolutely gorgeous -- you won't believe how many beautiful plants, trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals you can choose from. We have a full range of foundation plants, flowers for beds, unusual varieties, native varieties, surprising colors (like purple rhododendrons) and on and on. If you want to know more about gardening, join us April 17 (Saturday) and April 24 (Saturday) at 10:00 am for two informal "Walk & Talk" Classes. They're free (and fun!).
View of the rose section taken the other day. The Showcase is completely stocked right now -- it's a great time to pick up some unique varieties. |
Want to say a big thank-you to all the families who came in for our Easter Egg Hunt. We had a great crowd and we loved seeing many long-time customers and new faces too. Look forward to serving you a free hot dog this weekend. Bring friends!
Ken Long, President
