KAPA Awarded Bid to Continue Dialysis Transportation Services

After the closure on January 8th of the local office of the National Kidney Foundation (NKF), a partner agency of United Way of Greater Knoxville (UWGK), Outcome Based Investment (OBI) volunteers felt that the transportation services provided to low income dialysis patients were necessary to the community and needed to be continued.  For this reason, a bid process was established to locate a provider of these services for kidney dialysis patients in Knox County... more
