2009 Campaign Kickoff, September 11
Join us as we kickoff the 2009 United Way Campaign and partner with the City and County to remember the tragic events of September 11th on Market Square.
Day of Service, September 11
Our local community will join together by volunteering at several different service projects in the Knoxville area. Projects will include painting, landscaping and even simple construction to benefit United Way of Greater Knoxville's partner agencies.
Downtown United for United Way, September 11
This annual event will be held on Market Square between the hours of 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. For only $5.00, you can enjoy two hotdogs, chips and a drink! Entertainment will be provided by WDVX.
Telethon, September 21
Hosted by the Bijou Theater with remote locations at West Town Mall, Knoxville Center Mall and Turkey Creek, this day long telethon is sure to catch your attention. An hour long televised portion will air between 7 and 8 o'clock p.m. with surprise guest appearances!

4 Weeks 4 Change, October 12 - November 6
Every little bit helps! That's what this special event is aimed towards - be on the lookout for United Way change containers during this time. This spare change drive allows everyone to give back to the community!
Pilot Pumpers, October 19 - 21
Come fill up your tank and meet local celebrities as they pump gas for United Way. Five cents of every gallon of gas and ten percent of store sales benefit United Way of Greater Knoxville during this time! You won't want to miss this opportunity!
