SoCal's Market Continues Climbing
SoCal's Market Continues Climbing
Southern California may have missed out on the 2010 economic up-tick, but it looks like we're back in the game in 2011. For the first time in the current sales cycle, most of the Southland markets have been posting meaningful rent increases. More importantly, the higher rents now appearing in LA, San Diego and Orange County during the first third of 2011 have not required occupancy sacrifices.

California's economy "should begin showing more strength against a background of gradually accelerating national and global growth."

The move is fueled by economic necessity and a growing diversity of area demographics. While starting in San Francisco, it's a niche that could prove very lucrative in the future.
