The Sand Dollar

Dear Members,
I am very proud to present the first e-mail newsletter to our membership. With the support of the Board of Directors, GWCOC is doing our part to go green. This will be our last month for our printed edition of the Sand Dollar. Spread the word to your business associates that they too can sign up and receive the electronic Sand Dollar so they can stay up to date on all of the happenings in and around the Wildwoods.
We have also joined Facebook and Twitter in hopes to share our information and excitement about this great island. I am pleased to announce that we do have over 700 Facebook friends keeping up with our activities. Erin Springer is doing an amazing job keeping this updated and exciting for our friends.

Internet advertising invoices will be mailed out to all members in the beginning of February. We are about to launch our new web site.  GWCOC 1st Annual Accommodations Trade Show
March 25th & 26th
The Accommodations Committee of the Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce will be hosting it's first annual Accommodations Trade Show Friday March 25th from 4pm-9pm and Saturday March 26th from 11am-7pm.
Vendors scheduled to appear will showcase much needed Accommodations supplies such as; linens, appliances, printers, web designers, tile, and carpeting providers.

This FREE seminar offers a Q&A with Edward Jones Financial Advisor, Jacqueline Fiore about the current market conditions, political climate and where Edward Jones believes they may be headed in 2010. The seminar also includes an article highlighting the role of risk in investing and a profile on how the improving economy may affect bonds in the New Year.
This educational seminar will take place at the Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce ConferenceCenter.

 American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED Course
February 25th 2010
6pm-9pm
The Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce will host it's first American Heart Association Heartsaver AED Course. It will be held February 25th 2010 from 6pm until 9pm at the Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce Conference Center, located at 3306 Pacific Avenue Wildwood.
Participants will:
-Learn CPR and the use of AED (Automated External Defibrillator) on victim's age 1 through adult. Participants will also learn to recognize
-The symptoms of Heart Attack, Stroke, and Choking, and the actions that should be taken.
-Have the use of their own mannequin.
An American Heart Association Heartsaver AED card will be issued upon the successful completion of the three hour course and is valid for two years.
$20.00 per person
Cost includes: Class Manual and Card Processing fee.
Chamber Members, Guests and the Public are all invited to attend this educational event.
