Inaugural Ball

starkborderIt's only a little more than sixty days after President Obama's inauguration but it sure seems like it's been a very busy sixty days for our new President since that historic event on January 20th. For us folks at Scharff Weisberg it was the days leading up to the inauguration that were particularly busy as we shipped audio, video and lighting gear as well as tech crews to support four inaugural events - a big party for the Huffington Post, a special concert at the Kennedy Center and two of the inaugural balls.

We are indebted to our clients David Stark Productions (Huffington Event), New York Audio Services (Kennedy Center Event) and Nautilus Entertainment Design and Ward & Ames (Western & Mid-Atlantic Inaugural Balls) for letting us come along for the exciting ride and do our thing in the town that President Obama now calls home.

New Scharff Weisberg Website

I'm happy to announce that the new website has launched (find it at www.scharffweisberg.com) and I think you'll appreciate the changes. The new webbordersite features:

·    A clean, uncluttered interface that facilitates fast
     navigation throughout the site.

·    An updated catalog page with a downloadable
     inventory catalog

·
An extensive portfolio of images and video
documenting all the different types of work we do and
the markets we typically work within. The portfolio is
categorized by technology as well as market so you
can easily find examples pertinent to the work you are doing.

·
The latest news related to interesting projects and technology as well as an extensive archive of
      older news items.

·
The usual goofy pictures of the staff and I on the job and, uh, not on the job.
