PJ's& Pillowcase Party This Saturday
On Saturday, June 19th, Quiltique will host a Summer PJs & Pillowcases Party. Wear your silliest, sassiest, fanciest or just plain comfiest pajamas to the Pillowcase party. We will start in the afternoon and sew into the night on, you guessed it - Pillowcases! All to benefit ConKerr CancerLV. Quiltique will supply the fabrics and you will supply the goodies. Potluck it is, so bring your best HOMEMADE dish to share. There will be prizes for the Prettiest Pillowcase and the Most Perfect Pillowcase. Make sure to wear your PJs & bring your dish so you get that special discount we will be offering.

 Hello my stitchin' friends! Thanks for taking a few minutes to see what's happening here at Quiltique. I hope you have enjoyed the Spring weather as it is time to prepare for the heat (although is is already 100+ here in Las Vegas). Summer begins June 21st and the best way to stay cool is to stay inside and SEW!! Kick those kiddies outside and get some projects done. | Schnibbles Contest Approaching!
Quilts Due July 31st-
You still have time to get sewing on your prize winning Schnibble Quilt. All you need to do is:
1. Purchase Schnibbles Times Two.
2. Use currently available Moda Layer Cakes and/or Charm Packs to create any quilt (large or small) from the book.
3. Bring us your finished quilt by 6pm on July 31, 2010.
4. All contestants' quilts will be proudly displayed in the shop for everyone to enjoy. Quiltique will select one finalist and submit photos of that quilt to Martingale & Company for the national competition by August 16, 2010.
5. Winners of the national competition will be selected September 15, 2010, and begin receiving their wonderful prizes
You could be rich with fabric and books! You could also be famous! Martingale & Company will post all finalists' quilts in a gallery on Flickr and announce them on Facebook. Please visit our website for more information and pick up your complete rules in the shop. Don't miss out on the fun! |
