Come and be inspired with Jenny and Simon Haskins' beautiful and inspirational machine embroidery. In this seminar you will learn many of the tips, tricks and techniques Jenny and Simon have discovered over the years to create gorgeous machine embroidered quilts, garments and more. This presentation will cover techniques such as machine embroidered appliqué, sheer reverse appliqué, shadow appliqué, woven trims appliqué, Faux Knitting, use of templates in embroidery, cutwork lace, Embroidered Decoupage, Jenny's Perfect Quilt software and much more. The presentation will include a beautiful trunk show of quilts including "Sharman's Vintage Garden," "Summer Wine," "Moulin Rouge" and Jenny's newest quilt "When Dreams Flower." Simon will also cover correct stabilization and how to choose the correct stabilizer for each project, how to use Jenny's Heat Cutting Tool and Magic Tassel Maker. Jenny's Heritage
BOTM and Classes Begin
We are pleased to announce the beginning of our new Block Of The Month - Jenny's Heritage. This stunning quilt is made from silks, velvets, cottons, organza and other delightful, shimmering fabrics. If you have yet to see the Heritage quilt (skillfully made by Marti Taliento) hanging in the shop, you are missing out.
We are offering these BOTM kits as well as supporting monthly classes. The Jenny's Heritage BOTM kits are $25 per month for 8 months. The classes are $20 per month starting on February 26th from 10am - 2pm. You do not have to take the classes to sign up for the kit, nor do you have to take every class. It is up to you!
