This year's annual Quad Cities Breakfast will be hosted by the Derby Chamber of Commerce.  It is our turn to showcase our community and welcome our neighboring communities.

Derby City Manager Kathy Sexton will present an informative program about the growth and development in and around Derby and how it will affect our neighboring communities in the future.

Police Appreciation Banquet May 4
It's not too late to donate!
Plans are underway for the 9th annual Derby Police Appreciation Banquet to be held Tuesday, May 4. 

Pleasantview Baptist Church is hosting this event to show appreciation for the men and women on the police force and their families who sacrifice deeply to ensure peaceful lifestyles for all of us.
 
This is an invitation only event for the police officers and their families.  However, businesses can participate by donating any of the suggested items to be used for door prizes.  Please keep in mind they are honoring police personnel AND their families.  Suggested donations:
 
Gift certficiates for services or restaurants, non-perishable items, toys, clothing items (provided exchange of size is allowable), electronic items, home decor items.
 
Cash can also be donated for banquet expenses.  Please make checks payable to Highways and Hedges and send to Pleasantview Baptist Church, 1335 N. Buckner, Derby, KS  67037.

Spring Fling will be held Saturday, May 1 from 9:00-3:00.  There are many volunteer positions available.  If you are interested in volunteering for at least a 3-hour shift, please contact the Chamber at 788-3421 or via email
