Bike Bash - Elbow Grease AuctionThis year at our 5th Annual Bike Bash we are trying something new. I'm asking you to consider being a part of it.
Too many times we are asked to give money, talent and time from our businesses and it gets old. As I tried to think of a fun way to generate money for this year's United Way of Hancock County fundraiser (Bike Bash), I thought of utilizing our personal talents within the ELBOW GREASE AUCTION. (attachment example)
If you would, spend a few minutes thinking about what you enjoy doing and offer that talent or time up for auction. Ask your friends and family what you are good at! The Elbow Grease Auction will be held at 7:30 p.m. in front of Coffee Amici. A professional auctioneer will be on hand to make this event fun and lively.
Please call me right away if this sounds like fun to you too! Thanks so much.

SIX DISCIPLINES NWO DOUBLES ITS BUSINESS COACHING CAPACITY
ADDS FOUR NEW CERTIFIED BUSINESS COACHES, EXPANDS GEOGRAPHIC COVERAGE
Findlay, Ohio, July 22, 2010 - Six Disciplines NWO announced today that four new Certified Business Coaches have joined the organization.
The four new Certified Coaches will double the business coaching staff and bring valuable new skills and experiences to Six Disciplines NW Ohio. In addition to Paul Worstell, (see related announcement) the former president of PRO-TEC Coating Company, Jane Strathman of Fort Myers, Florida, Laura Rosenbaum and Kaye Straight , both of the greater Los Angeles area in Southern California, have also completed their certification training and are prepared to service new clients. (see Who We Are for each coach's bio)
"I am very excited about the skills and experience our new coaches bring to the team," said Eric Kurjan, President of Six Disciplines NWO. "Jane, Laura, and Kaye all started their careers in banking, and have moved onto very successful consulting practices of their own. They now have added a valuable, broader set of skills they can bring to their clients and ours. I have been a client and worked with Jane Strathman in various leadership consulting activities for the past 15 years. We have built a trusted relationship, so it only seemed natural for us to join forces," added Kurjan.
"The idea of adding the new coaches was born out of necessity, as our client base has grown and also because of a mutual client of Jane's and ours, who has a national presence. We felt we could better serve this client by having strategically-placed Six Disciplines coaches. It also opens up the door to serve other clients as well."
Paul, Jane, Laura, and Kaye have each completed their Six Disciplines business coaching certification and are ready to begin working with client organizations. "This is further proof that planning and execution pays off -- not only for our clients, but for us as well," said Kurjan.
