QAS specializes in outsourced Internal Audit Services, including on-site Internal Auditor Training, for manufacturing and service companies. They have a unique understanding of your needs and how to assist you with your Internal Audits. The company's aim is to provide you with cost effective internal audits so that you can free up your time to concentrate on your primary job. QAS offers a smart solution at a sensible price.

  • Auditors do not know how to do a process audit.
  • Auditors are writing up the "trivial many" vs. the "vital few" nonconformance's.
  • Auditors not trained in the "core tools" as required by the automotive sector.

Recent Awards or recognition:

West Cascades Professional Offices

Findlay, OH - West Cascades Professional Offices are now open.  Located within the cluster of other medical buildings on the western edge of Lake Cascades, the new West Cascades complex is now providing office spaces for five independent health and sports-related medical practices.

RCM Architects completed the conceptual design and construction documents of the 16,400 s.f., five-suite, medical facility in 2008.  Following 13 months of construction by Alvada Construction, the building opened its doors to the community during an Open House in early February.  Currently, the suites are occupied by:

Harry E. Bash, MD - Eye Care
Family Medical Associates of Findlay - General Practice
Blanchard Valley Hospital Rehabilitation Center - Occupational and Physical Therapy
Lima Pathology Laboratories - Lab

While matching exterior features of surrounding buildings (including rooflines and construction materials), the new facility offers its tenants many unique interior advantages.  As designed by RCM Architects, all suites have high ceiling heights with borrowed light windows and transoms that allow for a greater sense of openness. Featuring warm finishes, stained woodwork, and subdued lighting, the building generates a sense of health, making staff and guests of the facility feel more comfortable and relaxed during their visits.

West Cascades Professional Building is located at 1721 Medical Boulevard, Findlay, OH 45840

SNOWMOBILES IN PARK AREAS

With considerable snow fall over the past several weeks, conditions have been very suitable for winter sports such as cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.  However, recent reports have been received by Hancock Park District staff that snowmobiles have been using hiking trails and areas within HPD parks, especially Riverbend Recreation Area, to drive snowmobiles.  HPD would like to remind area residents that snowmobiles and all purpose vehicles are NOT permitted and are off limits within HPD park areas. Hiking trails are groomed by HPD staff for cross-country skiers and are damaged when snowmobiles or other all purpose vehicles are used over the tracks.

Snowmobiles and all purpose vehicles are allowed around the base of the Findlay Reservoir dikes only.  No snowmobiles are permitted on the top or sides of the dikes, or on the reservoir ice.  Use the side of the roadways only and stay off private property. Visitors may use parking lots to load and unload vehicles and to access roadways.  Destruction of city or park property is prohibited.

The Findlay Reservoirs, adjacent parking lots and other surrounds city properties remain open 24 hours a day. HPD areas, such as Riverbend close at dark and reopen at dawn year-round.
State laws require all snowmobiles and all-purpose vehicles, operated on public land, to display current state registration and identifying numbers.

Any further questions can be addressed at HPD Headquarters located at 1424 East Main Cross St., Findlay or by calling 419-425-PARK/7275.
