Support a CROP Hunger Walk
Near You

Hunger affects close to one billion people around the world, and it hurts children the most. But we can change that - together.

Over the next two months, 80 communities in Illinois will join together with more than 1,000 communities in the U.S. to help end hunger. This means support for local food banks and soup kitchens, as well as long-term, sustainable solutions for families all around the world.

If you haven't already gotten involved this year, please find a CROP Hunger Walk near you or call the Illinois CWS office at (630) 200-4572.

Appointing the Child Advocate

As the Northern Illinois Conference enters into the busy season of charge conferences, we at United Voices for Children know that church leaders are working hard to prepare all of the necessary documents, tell the story of the local congregation's life, and solidifying leadership rosters. There is one important position that each local church must prayerfully appoint:

UVC Board members and staff are available to assist you. Located here is a copy of the job description for the LCA in the form of a covenant agreement. If you desire further information about appointing this critical church leader - please e-mail UVC at Umvoices4kids@yahoo.com, or call 224-587-3611.
