The Northern Illinois Conference Evangelism Work Area is excited to announce the 2012 Harry Denman Evangelism Award recipients.
This year's clergy recipient is the Rev. Dr. Jay D. Carr, and the lay recipient is Jim Miller. The awards will be presented at the NIC School of Evangelism, on October 20, at Cornerstone UMC in Elgin. Read more>>

Outreach: Youth in Mission
|  Registration Now Open!On Saturday, October 20, youth (7th-12th grade) are invited to attend Conference-wide event to learn about how they already are and can strengthen their work in mission. Location: North Central College (Kiekhoffer Hall) 9:30am - 3:30pm. $5 donation per attendee is requested, for those who are able to give. Over the next two months, 80 communities in Illinois will join together with more than 1,000 communities in the U.S. to help end hunger. This means support for local food banks and soup kitchens, as well as long-term, sustainable solutions for families all around the world.
