We thank our delegation and other NIC leaders who attended the North Central Jurisdictional Conference in Akron, Ohio from July 18-20. Besides the announcement of the Episcopal assignment, a motion with some language constructed by NIC delegate Lonnie Chafin, was made and carried to develop online dialogue and a task force focused on the nature and mission of jurisdictions. The final act of business was to approve the $1,117,300 North Central Jurisdiction budget for 2013-16. The 2016 NCJ conference will be held in Peoria, IL. |
