Summer Mission Trip Highlights
|
Minooka United Methodist Church was proud to send four teams of our Senior High youth to the Appalachians in June. This was Minooka UMC's 11th year heading southeast to do God's work. They worked in Martin County, Kentucky, which is on the border of West Virginia. This ASP (Appalachia Service Project) has taken on a life of its own amongst the Senior High age youth of our church. This ministry itself seems to mold our youth into the very dedicated and caring persons that they become. We are so proud of each and every one of them. To watch these young people accomplish what they do in home repairs and soul repairs reminds us of the blessings in our midst. |
