Communicator's Corner
|

I had the privlege of touring the Upper Room Chapel this week in Nashville. The stained glass window is 20 feet high and 8 feet wide and has over 9,000 pieces of glass.
It honors the presence of the Holy Spirit in the original upper room.
The focal point of The Upper Room Chapel is a nearly life-size woodcarving of Leonardo da Vinci's painting, The Last Supper. Fifty craftspersons worked for fourteen months under the direction of sculptor Ernest Pellegrini to create the work. It was carved from linden (basswood) and walnut and is 17 ft. wide and 8 ft. high.
The Upper Room Chapel is a peaceful, beautiful place everyone should have the chance to visit once in their lifetime.
