China Bible Ministry Exhibition

Bishop Hee-Soo Jung met with representatives from the China Christian Council on Wednesday to continue planning for an exiting opportunity this fall. The Bible Ministry Exhibition of the Protestant Church in China, entitled "Thy Word is Truth", will be on display at the First United Methodist Church at the Chicago Temple from October 12-16, 2011.

Groups Encouraged to Visit Exhibit

While you're making fall plans for your church groups, consider a trip to the exhibit.

  • Confirmation classes can come, especially on October 15. Youth from across the Conference will gather at 10 a.m. Learn about the history of the Christian faith in China. Join other youth for a day of worship, learning, and fun.
  • Adult study groups can use this as an invitation to study, learn, and grow in their faith.
  • Mission committees, UMW circles, and UMM can hear the story of how the faith has spread, including meeting delegates from the China Bible Society. Spread those stories to your congregation and beyond.

Crystal Lake Seniors Experience a Life-Changing Week
