Clergy Called to
A Day Apart With the Bishop

Bishop Jung will spend 3 days with Conference Clergy on February 14-16. All Conference clergy are encouraged to attend one of the three days.  

Monday, February 14, will be at Gary Memorial UMC in Wheaton

Tuesday February 15, will be at Clair Christian UMC, 3956 W. 14th, Chicago 

Wed. February 16, will be at Rochelle UMC in Rochelle.  

 

Registration will begin at 8:00 AM each day, and the day will end at 2:30 PM.


The Bishop will lead the groups in Bible study focusing on Ephesians 4 and Genesis 32. He will also address several key ministry needs and spend time discussing the Call to Action plan for our denomination, which has been submitted for the 2012 General Conference.  

 

Clergy are asked to RSVP their district administrator of their planned attendance or absence.

February 22-26: The 5-day Academy for Spiritual Formation will be held in Frankfort, IL. There is room for 2 more to sign up to attend.

Districts offer Lay Academies

Rockford District Lay Academy will be held Sat-Sun. Feb. 19-20 at Trinity UMC in Freeport
Chicago Northwester District Lay Academy will be held Sat. Feb. 19, and Feb. 26 in Park Ridge.   
 

Aurora District Lay Academy will be held on 5 consecutive Sundays March 13-April 10 in Naperville.
