Greetings! | Welcome to the May 13 eNews. For questions or help with media and communications, please contact Matt at communications@umcnic.org.
Before we continue, please stop reading this for a second, click over and subscribe to the MyCom newsletter from UM Communications. UMCom is doing some great work in training local churches to use modern media and communications techniques. I always learn a lot from this group, and I think you will, too.

Be Bold. Dive Deep!
|
Can we live in bold discipleship? If we can, I know that God will
provide and abundant fruits will follow. I look forward to our
sharing, to our deep dive together as we gather in St. Charles for
Annual Conference this June.

Now that is how you celebrate Mother's Day
|
From Rev. Eric Blachford, Beth Eden, Evans, and Harlem UMC
Just
wanted to share the great news that Becky and I celebrated Mother's Day
with the birth of our first child, Isaac Daniel Blachford. He was born
at 4:11pm Sunday and weighed in at 8 pounds, 1 ounce and is 21 inches in
length. If you'd like to see the baby on the news, WTVO 17 came to interview us as the first Mother's
Day baby this year. We are grateful to God for this wonderful gift and
responsibility! God is good!
