HR Buzz on Holiday Stress! |
Did you know that employee stress levels tend to go higher during the holidays?
The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health reports that 40% of workers report their job is "very or extremely stressful."; and this is before the holidays arrive.
In a poll of 600 full-time employees, Accenture's HR Services found that 66% of the respondents reported additional stress at work during the holidays. What can you do to manage your stress level this holiday? Meet with old friends, call up family, collaborate to finish projects, listen to music, take baths, ask for help and say "No" if you can't make a deadline and keep in mind others are stressed out too! |
