I love women's retreats because they give women a chance to get away from their normal routines. They provide time for women to reflect on God's Word, laugh together and connect with friends. At the end of August, eight of us headed to Guatemala City to lead two back-to-back women's retreats for the married students' wives and the single women who are in seminary. We partnered with Jenny Adams whose husband is the president of SETECA-a grace based Biblical Theological Seminary. As a team, we were blessed to have each other and experience the joy of women coming together from over 23 different countries. RLM is committed to share the truth and message of Jesus Christ by praying, speaking, encouraging and loving women of all ages around the world. We are thankful the Lord allowed us to fulfill our purpose and mission through these women's retreats! We are already praying for what God has planned for next year's international mission-women's retreat!

The long awaited CD, An Invitation, released this month! It is so exciting to see how the Lord brought all the pieces together to make the Reflecting Him Bible Study complete. In April, Carla mentioned to her sister, singer/song writer Cindy Vinson, the need for a theme song for the study. Cindy told her about eight songs she'd written ten years ago, and as Carla listened to the words of these songs, tears flowed. It was as if Cindy had done the Bible study and then wrote the songs. This summer Cindy recorded the songs with jazz guitarist, Mike Sunjka, and she is graciously donating the profits of this project to RLM.
